It gives us great pleasure to announce that Jared Korver has joined our growing Beacon family. Jared comes to us from Ernst & Young LLP, where he worked as a CPA in its Raleigh, NC tax practice. He gets considerable joy from serving people and solving problems, and he’s not afraid to swim against current to do both.

Jared graduated summa cum laude from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and received an academic fellowship from North Carolina State University, where he obtained his master’s degree in accounting. Jared grew up in Carthage, NC and is married to his best friend, Amy Korver. Together they have no kids but lots of books. Jared loves being outside, can’t read enough, is an avid fan of food and coffee, and is in the habit of writing haikus. We look forward to sharing his writing in the months to come.
