New Website, Same Great Service

Unless you are visiting our site for the first time (in which case, welcome!!), you will have noticed by now that it’s new and–we believe and hope–improved.

A website for any sort of professional services firm is an interesting thing. We don’t sell a tangible product that you can hold in your hands or even look at. We aren’t working with tools that make for great photography (calculators and desktops, anyone?). And in the case of our particular industry, we can’t even include testimonials from our own clients. So what’s the point of the website anyway?

I don’t suppose that there is a single right answer to that question, but here at Beacon we’ve landed on three key elements, and we hope what you see now as you click around the site is a testament to each of them:

  1. Who we are.
  2. What you can expect as a client or potential client.
  3. Valuable, relevant, timely resources.

So yes, the look of the site is quite different, but more importantly the content is more focused, succinct, and transparent. We hope as you interact with it in whatever capacity you’re used to that it’s easier, more enjoyable, and ultimately more useful. As always, please let us know if there is anything we can be doing to serve you better. There may not be anything to hold in your hands as we do, but we are thrilled to play a significant role in the lives of our clients, helping to foster generosity, clarity, confidence, and peace of mind. Thank you for the opportunity!

A product of small-town North Carolina (Carthage, to be exact), I’m proudly married to my best friend and co-adventurer, Amy. Together, we have two sons–Miles and Charlie–and could more or less start a library from our home. I love being outside, can’t read enough, am in the habit of writing haikus, and find food and coffee to be among life’s greatest treasures.
